Kansas Volume Pricing Law on Alcohol Delayed

Children of older women appear vulnerable to the effects of prenatal alcohol exposure
The presence and severity of Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders are influenced by factors beyond alcohol consumption, such as maternal age. New findings have shown that the damaging effects of maternal binge drinking during pregnancy on attention are greater among children born to older drinking mothers. (More)

Most men in long-term study of HIV report low use of illicit drugs
Most older gay and bisexual men enrolled in a long-term study of HIV used recreational drugs infrequently over a 10-year period, researchers report. The study explored the drug use habits of 1,378 HIV-positive and negative gay and bisexual men, ages 44-63, and found that 79 percent of participants reported infrequent drug use. (More)
